  • Tools for Trade: Individuals who have recently lost their job, had their hours cut, or who are concerned about making their monthly mortgage payments because of the recent economic decline are encouraged to attend the Tools for Trade Workshop.  This workshop also teaches resume writing and interviewing techniques.

 

  • ABC's of Entrepreneurship: Offers business training workshops for both start-up and established businesses. Workshops are offered all year round with morning and evening sessions. These workshops cover a variety of topics, from writing a business plan to tax preparation. They also offer networking opportunities for business owners.

 

  • Budget Rejuvenation: Offers individuals clear direction on creating a custom budget that will suite their needs. This workshop is encouraged, because when you have a planned budget your dreams will come true.

 

  • Media (Radio and Broadcasting): Youth participants will learn several aspects of radio, from the beginnings of radio to radio today. Instructors will provide an overview of radio broadcasting in the studio and all of the positions held in the station. Participants will be given hands on practical experiences with all aspect of radio broadcasting.  Professionals in the industry will be available to assist in this workshop series.
